Social innovation on the menu
31 March, 2019
The document “Innovation sociale au menu” presents a co-definition of social innovation in the food sector in the context of social entrepreneurship.
The project, funded by CSAM and led by the Pôle Systèmes Alimentaires (an initiative of Esplanade Montréal in collaboration with Collectif Récolte), has laid solid foundations for a shared conceptualization of social innovation in the food sector.
The findings call for better support for enterprises in terms of funding, impact assessment and access to information, as well as the creation of spaces that encourage collaboration in a perspective of complementarity and systemic action.
