2023-2024 Annual Report
Last year marked a turning point for Collectif Récolte, particularly with the departure of Laura Howard, the organization’s co-founder, whose vision and values helped shape its development. Her departure, along with a number of other philanthropic factors, prompted us to adapt our strategies to ensure that we continue to carry out our mission with the same passion and determination.
As part of this dynamic renewal, we have embarked on a restructuring project aimed at strengthening our capacity to support and guide territorial food system stakeholders.
This annual report is a testament to our accomplishments, successes, collaborations and other evidence of our commitment to a sustainable, equitable and solidarity-based food future.
“After now more than nine years, I have been extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with an amazing team of dedicated and passionate people who have helped not only reinforce our impact, but also thoughtfully helped to challenge, reflect and advance the mission, vision and work of the organization. […] I am grateful to have been part of a female co-directorship, alongside Judith and Dominique, through a period where our ongoing growth required endless evaluation of our services and internal structures, establishing and adapting our governance and operating models. […] I have also had the pleasure of building many meaningful partnerships that have contributed greatly to our learning, knowledge and collective impact. Together, we have driven needed change by accompanying key actors, projects, and collective initiatives fostering social innovation in food systems across Quebec, and Canada.”
We would like to acknowledge the tremendous contribution of our partners, collaborators and all stakeholders who helped make the past year a success.
