The Marigot Agricole Project: A Collective Initiative in Urban and Social Farming

Between fall 2024 and spring 2026, we supported Marigot Agricole during the prototyping phase (i.e., the design of pilot versions) and the implementation of its community projects. This support followed a phase in which Marigot’s partners, with support from Cité-ID LivingLab, co-designed the initiative’s governance framework. The framework was therefore tested concurrently with the implementation of the projects. Finally, the support also included assistance with capturing and sharing lessons learned.

This resulted in three prototyping workshops in subgroups, three quarterly reviews in a large group, biweekly strategic support meetings with the coordinator of Marigot Agricole, and the facilitation of ad hoc meetings to support the priority areas for project implementation.

This document details the actions and solutions tested by the partners and the resulting lessons learned. The feedback is based both on the partners’ contributions during the progress reviews and activity evaluation questionnaires, and on the expertise of the Collectif Récolte.
